Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day fell on a Sunday this year. Well, no holiday is going to keep me from taking my standard Sunday afternoon nap after church. I fell asleep in my bedroom, dreaming about the heart-shaped pancakes I would make for dinner after I woke up. When I woke up 3 hours later, however, I found our kitchen table set up in the living room, lit by candlelight, and the table laden with steak, shrimp scampii, pasta alfredo, vegetables, and rolls. Our coffee table had been moved to the kitchen, where the kids excitedly sat on little stools, eating their dinner. My wonderfully romantic, and culinarily talented husband had created this sumptuous feast for me! I am so lucky.
