Christmas Socks

We started a new Christmas Eve tradition this year in the McKeachnie family. Grandma McKeachnie bought every member of the Clan a pear of new socks to wear on Christmas Eve. And not just any socks. All the women, as well as the grandchildren received a pair of cute patterned socks. See mine, Brennens, and Tayson's below:

The men however, were not quite so lucky. Grandma M. purchased plain white socks for the men, which the women secretly decorated over Thanksgiving weekend. We cheerfully raided the fully stocked craft room and availed ourselves of the plethora of ribbons, sequins, silk flowers, pom poms, fabric markers, etc and generously beautified said plain white socks for the men in our lives. We were positively overjoyed to deliver these to them on Christmas Eve and insist they put them on. I am devastated to discover that I did not capture one picture of the dazzling socks I created for Clint. However, here is a picture I did have of my brother-in-law, Jeff, displaying his masterpiece:

Next year's pair will be even more fabulous, and I will definitely capture a picture!
