A little less wise, and what would we do without moms?

My mom came down from Bear Lake on Tuesday afternoon, and she just left this morning for her fall migration to her Phoenix home. The reason she stayed for several days was to help me out while I was having some extensive dental work done. On Wednesday, I had some dental work on the left side of my mouth, including a root canal + crown, and both wisdom teeth on that side removed. I went back on Thursday to have a cracked tooth repaired on the right side of my mouth, as well as both of the right wisdom teeth removed. None of it was very fun, but it was all made excessively easier by the helpfulness of my mom. She took care of my kids, while doing dishes, helping me catch up on my laundry, taking the kids costume shopping (be prepared for some major cuteness to come), etc. Thanks, Mom! I couldn't have done it without you.
On Tuesday night, before any dental work was to be done, my mom took us out to eat at Chili's. My brother, Wes, and his wife, Sharlyn came up to join us, and we were also lucky to have my brother-in-law, Bryan able to join us. He lives in Nashville, but came to Utah last weekend to run the St. George marathon, then stuck around to welcome his brother home from his mission on Wednesday. It was fun to visit and hang out for a while.

While we were at dinner, Wes enjoyed tickling the back of Brennen's neck.

After dinner, we all hung out at my apartment for a while. Brennen was fascinated by Bryan, and Tays enjoyed playing light sabers with him (thanks for being such a good sport, Bryan!).

And this is the silly face Brennen has started making whenever he sees a camera pointed in his direction.

I loved the little shiver he gave when he was tickled. So cute. And Lilly loves it when we give her soda from a straw. She thinks it's the best thing ever.
