On Monday, for Family Home Evening, we joined two of our nieghbors and went up Provo Canyon to South Fork Park for some yummy hobo dinners. Mmm! We were joined by
Steven and Stacy Minch, and
Katie and Mike Jorgensen. The Jorgensens provided the hobo dinners, along with the grill to cook them on, the Minches provided the chips, and we provided the watermelon and the silverware. It was fun to spend a little bit of time up in the mountains, enjoying good company, and good food. Mike also brought a football, and a frisbee, so he kept Tayson 'fetching', which absolutely delighted the little guy.
You can't tell from the picture because it was already starting to get dark, but the leaves were already starting to change color, and it was beautiful. Clint and Katie were both able to see a deer and a few elk up on the mountain, but they proved too elusive for me.

Your new blog "skin" looks great! What is a hobo dinner? Is that like a tin foil dinner?
Yes, a hobo dinner is basically a foil dinner, complete with meat (we used kielbasa), potatoes, and veggies (we had corn and carrots). It was so yummy!
