The week of.... (part II)

Knowing that it might be awhile before we were all together again, my parents scheduled a photographer to come to the resort on Sunday at 11 am. We picked this time so that we would have time to attend a local sacrament meeting at 9 am. Upon arriving in Florida, however, we discovered that LDS Floridians are lazy. None of the meetinghouses in the area held a 9am sacrament service. We hoped to make it to a 1 pm service, but the photography session took too long and we didn't make it. Darn it. It was nice to have a more updated picture of our family taken, both as individual families, and as a big group (there are now 7 grandchildren and 2 new fiances to add to the mix). Unfortunately, it was a little breezy, so the hair I had painstakingly styled that morning ended up with a windblown look. Tayson was also having a difficult time that day and was crying in many of the pictures. Ah well. That's the stuff memories are made of, right?

On Monday, everybody but the grandparents headed over to Disney World's Magic Kingdom. We separated into smaller groups and followed our own schedules, meeting up occasionally. Clint and I stayed with my sister, Kristen and her family throughout the day. We took turns watching babies as we rode some of the bigger rides. We had a great time, and Tayson even enjoyed some of the bigger rides, like Splash Mountain. We contemplated going home for a nap in the afternoon, then returning to play all night, but decided against it. My sister had a schedule for the day pretty-well-mapped out, so we were able to fit everything we wanted to see in, before heading home, exhausted at the end of the day.

At first, I had Brennen in a sitting-up position in his stroller, thinking he would enjoy looking around. But it didn't take me long to figure out that he preferred to be reclined, with his feet propped up on the tray, enjoying life. This is how he spent the rest of the week:
