where we joined some friends for a larger Easter egg hunt and a yummy barbecue. This egg hunt was little different. There were plastic eggs filled with candy, plus dyed eggs. Amid all the eggs hidden, there were bottles of bubbles and candy strewn across the yard. To encourage the kids to hunt for the dyed eggs in addition to the candy-filled eggs, each real egg had a mother's initials on it, plus either the amount of a coin or the the word 'prize' on it. After the hunt was over, each child would turn the egg in to the mother whose initials it bore and receive either the coin or the prize, whichever the case might be.
Tayson, in particular, really enjoyed the egg hunt:
Brennen just chilled the whole afternoon.

What a cute idea for an egg hunt! I love the competitiveness among the parents in the video.
